The question
Useful ideas disappear inside meeting notes and conference documents. How can you ask questions across that material while keeping inference on your own machine?
The approach
A FastAPI application organizes notes by conference. Documents are split into overlapping chunks, embedded with Ollama, and stored in ChromaDB. Questions retrieve only the selected conference’s notes, and the model is prompted to cite its sources.
The result
A runnable local knowledge tool with document uploads, note retrieval, and shareable conference views. It explores the complete path from an uploaded document to a grounded answer.
